I have been working on some arrangements of modern hymns by Keith & Kristyn Getty. They have been quite fun to arrange, and have taken quite a while. Though I would love to share them with you in the form of scores, I am unable to unless I risk a copyright lawsuit. You can however go to their website and buy one of their fantastic songbooks and download the original tracks!
Over the coming days I will upload the archive data, for my records, with links to the website, (sorry to dissapoint!). However, I also am going to make a pledge, that "from this day forth, I will write music in a new way, moving on from my old conventions of harmony, style and form”. I have studied music from the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries, and have learned a whole host of the conventions in music. I have even studied various genres of pop music, giving me a number of influences. As much as I love the style and form of the great master Beethoven, I must find my own way. I will complete my current 'works in progress', and then I will start my own journey!
