As I sit here proof reading my arrangements of Awaken The Dawn (Originally written Keith & Kristyn Getty), I have been thinking about restraint composition. By this I mean writing with the intention of making a part of, or the entirety of the music easy to play and thus simpler.
There is a definite art form to composition with limitations. I have been working on these for a fair few months, and it is only really now that they are complete. As I have mentioned in a previous post, I cannot upload them, as it will most likely result in a law suit for unauthorised distribution.
I will however upload another arrangement I was commissioned to write. Watch this space!
